My services are designed to empower management to make effective decisions about the use of the Internet. They are designed to help management understand the opportunities that the Internet can bring to their business and to guide them in applying eBusiness step-by-step.
The services all have a bias towards the use of eBusiness to support business relationships, because its impact is potentially so great on business outcomes (i.e., profitability, stable competitive advantages, and positioning). Accordingly, I examine the impact of eBusiness from a 'business relationships' point-of-view on each of the important dimensions of your business (e.g., marketing, operations, corporate, human resources, and innovation).
I provide the following three standard eBusiness services --
EBusiness Opportunity Check
This service is targeted at organisations that are in the early stages of exploring the potential of eBusiness. It provides a strategic analysis of those key areas that could substantially benefit from eBusiness solutions. It is offered as a comprehensive service covering the business dimensions of marketing, operations, corporate, human resources, and innovation, or as a focused examination of just those dimensions that you consider most important to you.
EBusiness Blueprint
This service is targeted at businesses that are already committed to adding an eBusiness component to their business model. It begins with the EBusiness Opportunity Check services to identify and prioritise the eBusiness opportunities (unless you have already targeted specific areas). I then work with your management to formulate both a strategy and a roadmap. I will create prototypes to enable you to visualise how things will work, and am available to guide any development projects that result. I will produce a complete MS Project plan and provide cost estimates.
EBusiness Advanced
This service is targeted at businesses that already have an eBusiness presence and are looking for ways to significantly increase its power and effectiveness. This services breaks down into two parts. Firstly, I examine your current use of eBusiness and look for ways to maximise their effectiveness. And, secondly, I look at the areas where you have not applied eBusiness and search for potential synergies with your existing systems.
In addition, I offer a comprehensive set of custom services including a corporate 'compliance and governance' healthcheck (especially as it relates to IT compliance, governance, and security), the specification and design of IT systems (especially federated architectures to unify existing systems across an organisation), and the formulation of strategies to encapsulate the organisation's IP in workplace support content and training.
